About us
A licensed yard, on Chichester Street, for over forty years
Under new ownership since 2025, doing the same job the yard has always done, properly licensed and properly paid.
Allparts Rochdale, trading as Allparts (Nationwide) Ltd (company 09948935), operates a licensed end of life vehicle facility at Plot 10/11 Chichester Street, Rochdale, OL16 2AU. The site holds Environment Agency Authorised Treatment Facility licence EAWML/53593 and upper tier waste carrier registration CBDU155342, which together allow us to collect, depollute and dismantle vehicles legally and to issue a Certificate of Destruction. We buy vehicles from cars and vans up to 7.5 tonne trucks, break them for parts, and recycle what is left. The yard has been breaking vehicles for over forty years and came under new ownership in 2025.
How we work
We do two things. We buy vehicles that have come to the end of their life, and we sell the parts that are still good off the back of them. Everything else gets recycled.
That means the parts we sell are not bought in from somewhere else. They come off vehicles that came through our own gate, so we know what they were on and what condition they were in. If we have not got what you need, we will say so rather than sell you something close.
And when we buy a vehicle from you, you get paid the same day by bank transfer. Not a cheque, not next week, and never cash, because paying cash for scrap metal has been illegal since 2013.

Common questions
- What is an Authorised Treatment Facility?
- An ATF is a site licensed by the Environment Agency to take end of life vehicles and depollute them properly, which means removing fuel, oils, coolant, brake fluid, batteries and airbags before anything else happens. Only an ATF can legally issue a Certificate of Destruction. A yard without one cannot lawfully scrap your car.
- Why does the licence matter to me?
- Because the responsibility for the vehicle stays with you until the DVLA is notified. Hand it to an unlicensed yard and you have no Certificate of Destruction, no proof it was disposed of properly, and you can still be liable for it. It is the one thing worth checking before anyone tows your car away.
- How long has the yard been here?
- The yard on Chichester Street has been breaking vehicles for over forty years. It came under new ownership in 2025 and we have been building it up since.
