Allparts Rochdale

Terms & Conditions

Last updated 28 August 2026

These are the terms you are dealing with us on. They are written plainly on purpose.

Who you are dealing with

Allparts (Nationwide) Ltd (company 09948935), trading as Allparts Rochdale, of Plot 10/11 Chichester Street, Rochdale, OL16 2AU. We are an Environment Agency Authorised Treatment Facility, licence EAWML/53593, and a registered waste carrier, CBDU155342.

Prices from the online valuation

The price the website gives you is worked out from what you tell us: the type and weight of the vehicle, whether it starts and drives, whether it has alloy wheels, and whether we collect it or you bring it to us. It is an honest estimate, produced in seconds, and it is meant to save you ringing round.

If the vehicle is as you have described it, that is the price you get. We do not knock money off when the driver arrives.

If something is different when we see it, for example it does not start when you have told us it does, the alloy wheels are not on it, parts have already been removed, or there is damage that was not mentioned, then the price will change to reflect the vehicle we are actually buying. We will tell you before anything is loaded, and agree a new figure with you. Nothing is taken away without you saying yes first. You are free to say no and we will leave.

We confirm every online price on the telephone before a collection is booked, so nothing is a surprise on the day.

Scrap and end of life vehicles

  • You must be entitled to sell it. We can only buy a vehicle from its registered keeper or somebody acting with their authority, and we are required by law to see photographic identification and proof of address.
  • Payment is by bank transfer. It is against the law for a scrap metal dealer to pay in cash, so we do not, and neither should anybody else offering to buy your vehicle.
  • We notify the DVLA and issue a Certificate of Destruction at no charge for every end of life vehicle we take. Until that is done the vehicle is still legally yours, which is why it matters who you give it to.
  • Take your belongings out first, and remove any private registration you want to keep before the vehicle leaves you. Once it has been processed neither can be recovered.
  • Collection is free within 40 miles. Vehicles must be accessible to a recovery vehicle.

Used parts

  • Parts are second hand and sold as described. We tell you the donor vehicle and, where we know it, the mileage. Where a part can reasonably be tested, we test it.
  • Check the price and that the part is off the vehicle before you travel. Ring us with your registration and we will confirm both. The price we give you on the telephone is the price at the counter.
  • It is your responsibility to make sure a part fits your vehicle. Give us the registration and we will help, but the same engine size does not always mean the same part.
  • If you buy without coming to the yard, you have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, from the day you receive the part. Tell us, return it in the condition it arrived, and we will refund you. This does not apply to trade buyers.
  • Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply as normal. If a part is faulty or not as described, we will put it right. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.

Things we cannot be responsible for

We are responsible for loss you suffer as a result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, where that loss is a foreseeable result of what we did. We are not responsible for losses beyond that, such as labour costs incurred fitting a part, loss of use, or lost earnings.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else which cannot be limited by law.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, tell us and we will try to sort it out. Most problems come from a misunderstanding about a part or a price, and most are fixable in a phone call. Get in touch here.

General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will deal with any dispute. We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows when they last changed. The terms that apply are the ones published when you dealt with us.
